Every Thursday Salsa Salamanca offer Salsa Classes upstairs at L2.
The club is well established and has steadily grown over the past 8 years.
Beginners are welcome to join at any time, there is no set course and it’s easy come easy go! It’s very friendly and many people have been coming for years and made a whole new bunch of friends along the way. This is Club salsa not ballroom salsa and is generally a lot more fun and relaxed, great exercise and the music is contagious you will not be able to help yourself moving along to the hot Latin Rhythm.
What to wear? – Generally clothes are a good idea but you can wear what you like as long as you are comfortable. Layers is a good idea as you can get very hot when dancing continuously. No need for special dance shoes but we do advise not to wear flip flops of backless shoes… a sensible heeled shoe for ladies is fine and normal shoes for the guys. The floor can be a little sticky in L2 so don’t wear anything that grips too much.
We start at 8.30pm ish, back door opens just before this and we go on till 11.30pm. Classes usually last around 45 minutes to an hour.
